On April 19th, the US Department of Defense issued a statement on April 18th local time, stating that the US Secretary of Defense instructed the integration of US troops stationed in Syria to selected locations within Syria. This process will reduce the size of the US military presence in Syria to less than 1000 personnel in the coming months.
