On April 24th, Yermak, the Director of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced on his official social media platform that the Ukrainian delegation had met with Kellogg, the US government’s special envoy for Ukraine affairs, in London that day. He stated that Ukraine expressed its position during the talks and emphasized that an immediate, comprehensive, and unconditional ceasefire should be the first step towards starting negotiations to achieve a just and lasting peace. In any case, Ukraine will defend its principled positions in negotiations, as these positions are the foundation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Both parties agree to continue dialogue and maintain regular contact. Kellogg stated on the 23rd that the talks with Ukraine held in London were “positive”.
