On April 27th, according to media reports this week, Apple plans to have “all iPhones sold to the US market supplied by India” by the end of 2026. Craig Moffett, who has been named the top analyst of the year by Institutional Investor 15 times in his career, said that this idea is unrealistic. Moffett believes that simply relocating assembly lines may not solve the tariff issue, and the global trade war is a “dual line battle” that affects both costs and consumer demand, with the latter potentially being the bigger problem.
