On May 2, according to the news of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, the Academy, together with researchers from Shenzhen University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, imitated the elongated shape and wave motion ability of nematodes, developed a blood gel fiber micro robot with a diameter of 1 mm, and used magnetic field to drive this “mechanical nematode” to achieve accurate drug delivery in the animal brain. The research results were published online on May 1st Beijing time in the international authoritative journal Nature, under the umbrella of Nature Biomedical Engineering.
