On May 3rd, the Indian Shipping Authority announced that any vessel flying the Pakistani flag is not allowed to dock at Indian ports. The announcement states that the issuance of this order is to ensure the safety of Indian assets, goods, and related infrastructure, in line with the public interest and the interests of Indian shipping. In addition, the Indian postal department announced on the 3rd that the government has decided to suspend the air and land transportation of mail and parcels entering from Pakistan. Earlier that day, India announced a ban on import trade with Pakistan.
