On May 11th, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagae posted on social media during the fourth round of Iran US nuclear negotiations that a new round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States is being held in Muscat, Oman. Iran firmly upholds its legitimate and inalienable right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy under the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and is fully prepared to continue diplomatic efforts to ensure the peaceful nature of its nuclear program. In addition, Bagai emphasized that Iran is also determined to work towards lifting the illegal and inhumane sanctions imposed by the United States on Iran for a long time.
