Oman’s Foreign Minister: Iran US Fourth Round of Talks Proposes’ Beneficial and Original ‘Ideas

On May 12th, Omani Foreign Minister Badr posted on social media that the fourth round of talks between Iran and the United States ended in the Omani capital Muscat on the same day, and both sides put forward some “beneficial and original” ideas during the discussion. Bader also said that this meeting reflects the common willingness of both sides to reach a “dignified agreement”, and the fifth round of talks will be held after both sides report to their respective national leadership. Iran and the United States held the first round of indirect talks in Muscat on April 12, marking the first official start of negotiations between the two sides since the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the Iran nuclear agreement in May 2018. Afterwards, the two sides held two rounds of indirect talks on April 19th and 26th respectively.
