On May 12th, the postponed fourth round of indirect negotiations on the Iran US nuclear issue was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on May 11th local time. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagae posted on social media that the negotiations have now ended. Bagae said that this round of negotiations is “difficult but beneficial”. The time and location of the next round of negotiations will be announced by Oman. A senior US official said that both sides agreed to continue negotiations and resolve technical issues.
