On May 17th, several banks in Guangzhou raised their mortgage interest rates by adding points. According to some banks and real estate agents, starting from May 17th, the interest rate for first-time home loans in Guangzhou will be adjusted from the original LPR-60bp to LPR-50bp, which means that the interest rate for first-time home loans over five years will increase by 10BP, from the original 3.0% to 3.1%.
