On May 17th, Japan is considering a plan to provide subsidies for the construction of Tesla electric vehicle charging stations in tariff negotiations with the United States. The Japanese government currently only provides subsidies for the installation of CHAdeMO standard charging stations in Japan, not including Tesla’s supercharging. TBS stated that the US Trade Representative has expressed concerns about this issue and requested improvements.
