On May 18th, local time, according to the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), severe weather has swept across the central United States to multiple states on the East Coast, causing at least 23 deaths so far. Among them, 14 people died in Kentucky, 7 in Missouri, and 2 in Virginia. In addition, over 600000 users in multiple states in the United States have experienced power outages. According to reports, the storm on the 16th triggered at least 26 tornadoes in Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, and New Jersey, with 15 states reporting damage caused by hail, strong winds, and tornadoes.
