On May 17, at the invitation of the Nepalese Federal Parliament, Xiao Jie, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, led a delegation to Nepal from May 14 to 17 to meet with Prime Minister Oli of Nepal, Speaker Jimmy Ray of the House of Representatives, President Dahal of the Federal House of Representatives, and Deputy Speaker Rana of the House of Representatives, respectively. Xiao Jie stated that China is willing to work with Nepal to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen political mutual trust, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning among legislative bodies, and promote the continuous deepening of China Nepal strategic partnership and practical cooperation in various fields.
