On May 18th local time, Osama Hamdan, a senior official of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stated that there were some “unacceptable” proposals in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations held in Qatar. Hamdan said that we are still in negotiations, but some ideas that are unacceptable to us have been put forward, and we are also presenting our own ideas. At present, no final agreement has been reached.
