According to Peng Yi, Chairman of the New Youth Commission of China, the New Youth Commission of China will always adhere to the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, connect and integrate into the “the Belt and Road” initiative, bring together global youth forces, explore the establishment of a new mechanism for international youth exchanges and cooperation in the new era, and strive to create a new situation for international cooperation in the youth of the new era.
At the unveiling ceremony, Peng Yi said that the New Youth Commission of China will be committed to building a bridge for global youth civilization dialogue in the future. By building new carriers such as the “the Belt and Road” Youth Civilization Dialogue Lecture Hall and the International Youth Leaders Civilization Dialogue Lecture, young people from all countries will be guided to participate in the new theme and form of civilization mutual learning and exchange activities, and contribute youth wisdom to building a community with a shared future for mankind. We are committed to activating the dream of global youth entrepreneurship, by jointly cultivating new types of physical enterprises, creating new business cooperation models, holding the Global New Era Youth Leaders Economic Cooperation Forum, promoting the creation of the “International Youth Entrepreneurship Park”, and establishing the International Youth Cooperation and Entrepreneurship Fund. We aim to provide youth solutions in the joint practice of innovation and entrepreneurship with young people from all over the world. We are committed to innovating the global youth talent training model, scientifically formulating plans, clarifying training concepts, objectives, paths, and evaluating training effects. By strengthening cooperation with well-known universities both domestically and internationally, we aim to promote the establishment of an “International Youth Talent Port” and accelerate the training of outstanding international youth talents.
More than 200 people, including ambassadors from some countries, representatives of international students, youth representatives, and guests from all walks of life, attended the unveiling ceremony of the plaque. The World Youth Civilization Dialogue and the first batch of cities for the Chinese Civilization Hundred Cities Expo were subsequently launched.
