Hangzhou, November 7th (Xinhua) – On November 7th, the 2025 China Africa Economic, Trade and Cultural Forum was held in Jinhua, Zhejiang. During the forum, the “Report on Chinese Enterprise Investment in Africa (2025)” was released, and 33 cooperative projects were signed together, with a total signing amount of 40.105 billion yuan.
In recent years, Jinhua has actively implemented high-quality initiatives such as jointly building the “the Belt and Road” and building a community of shared future between China and Africa, continued to expand trade channels with Africa, deepened two-way investment cooperation, and strengthened people to people and cultural exchanges and talent cultivation.
According to data, as of the end of October 2025, there are 2420 registered foreign-invested enterprises from African countries in Jinhua, ranking first in Zhejiang Province in terms of quantity.
This forum is hosted by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, and more than 400 guests from 38 countries and regions gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges and discuss cooperation around the theme of “economic and trade prosperity, cultural mutual learning, partner win-win, and people to people connectivity”. This forum also hosted a series of activities, including the China Africa Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation Exchange Conference, the China Africa Industrial Cooperation and Cross border E-commerce Development Forum, the China Africa Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Exchange Conference, the China Africa Woodcarving Handicraft Creation Exchange Conference, and the African Countries Investment Environment Promotion Conference.
