On April 13th, it was learned that professors at Harvard University are suing the Trump administration to prevent its review of approximately $9 billion in federal contracts and grants awarded to the university as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on anti Semitism on college campuses. The Harvard Faculty and Staff Branch of the American Association of University Professors and the national branch of the academic organization filed a lawsuit in Boston Federal Court on April 10th. On March 31st, the US Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, and General Services Administration announced that they are reviewing a $255.6 million contract and a $8.7 billion multi-year funding commitment between Harvard University and its affiliates and the federal government.
