On April 19th, an attack occurred in the border area between Manabi Province and Santo Domingo de los Chachilas Province in western Ecuador on the night of April 17th local time, resulting in at least 11 deaths and 9 injuries. The exact number of casualties is still being confirmed. At the time of the incident, armed personnel broke into a chicken farm in the area and opened fire on the crowd, causing casualties and stealing $20000 in cash.
