Netanyahu said that the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has rejected a proposal to release some detainees and insists on Israel ending the war and withdrawing troops from the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that the Israeli military will not end its military operations in the Gaza Strip until Hamas is eliminated, all detainees in the Gaza Strip are released, and the Gaza Strip no longer poses a threat to Israel.
