Xinhua News Agency, April 22 (Reporter Zou Xuemian and Hu Jiali) Recently, the completion ceremony of Dongxia Village Sports Stadium in Shuoshan County, Hanoi City, and the first China Communications Cup Basketball Friendship Tournament, hosted by China Vietnam enterprises and communities such as China Communications Construction First Public Works Group, were held in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
At the beginning of the event, guests jointly planted the “China Vietnam Friendship Tree”, and two trees symbolizing long-lasting friendship and commemorative stone tablets were officially completed. The first “China Communications Cup” Basketball and Badminton Friendship Tournament, held simultaneously, brought together four representative teams from Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises and communities. The tournament aims to prioritize friendship, and all participating teams were awarded commemorative prizes, conveying the message of no winner and long-lasting friendship.
The sports stadium is planned and constructed based on the principle of joint construction and sharing between China and Vietnam. After completion, it will be officially handed over to Dongxia Village for management and operation, and will be jointly used by local residents of China and Vietnam. In the future, the sports stadium will continue to host a variety of cultural and sports activities on the basis of improving its operational management mechanism, and further strengthen cooperation with schools, enterprises, and communities.
