On May 3rd, with the deep interconnection of infrastructure, consumption scenarios, and cross-border payment methods in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, the flow of inbound and outbound passenger traffic at various ports in Guangdong continued to operate at a high level during this year’s May Day holiday. In Zhuhai, Guangdong, Hengqin Port is also experiencing a peak in passenger and vehicular traffic. According to statistics from the Hengqin Border Inspection Station of Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, as of 10am on May 3rd, the number of passengers entering and exiting through Hengqin Port exceeded 255000, and the number of vehicles exceeded 20000, an increase of 55% and 54% respectively compared to the same period last year.
