Swiss Federal President Keller Zutter and Federal Vice President Pamland meet with He Lifeng

On May 10th, Swiss Federal President Keller Zutter and Federal Vice President Pamland met with Vice Premier He Lifeng of the State Council in Geneva. He Lifeng stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland 75 years ago, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the relationship between the two countries has become increasingly mature and stable, the economic complementarity has continued to strengthen, and the achievements in trade and investment have been fruitful. The current international situation is complex and severe. China and Switzerland should strengthen communication, build consensus, work together to address challenges, jointly safeguard free trade and open markets, and make substantial progress in upgrading the China Switzerland Free Trade Agreement negotiations as soon as possible, contributing to global peace, stability, and economic development and prosperity.
