Multiple African countries are optimistic about the potential of China’s outbound tourism market and will promote more targeted measures to attract Chinese tourists

On May 17th, the 2025 Africa Tourism Conference will be held in the coastal city of Durban, South Africa from May 13th to 15th. Several officials from participating African countries expressed optimism about the potential of China’s outbound tourism market and will introduce more targeted measures to attract Chinese tourists to Africa. As one of the largest tourism exhibitions in Africa, the Africa Tourism Conference attracted over 1300 exhibitors from 27 African countries and more than 1200 buyers from 55 countries and regions this year.
