The Philippine Election Commission announced the results of the midterm elections, and the Marcos camp’s election did not meet expectations

On the afternoon of May 17th, the Philippine Election Commission announced the official results of the midterm elections, officially declaring that 12 people had won the senatorial election. According to the election results, among the 12 newly elected senators in the Senate, the ruling coalition “New Philippines Alliance” supported by Philippine President Marcos won 6 seats, while the opposition Duterte camp won 5 seats. The remaining 2 seats will be obtained by other parties.
