Kuala Lumpur, October 28 (Xinhua) – The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit Malaysia from the 24th to the 27th, attend the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, and visit Selangor to inspect semiconductor industrial parks and projects under construction by Chinese enterprises.
As the rotating chairman unit of the East Asia Business Council, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade represents the business community in East Asia to propose policy recommendations. In the presence of representatives from the Malaysian government, the rotating chair of ASEAN, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Malaysia China Business Council signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the ASEAN China GCC Business Council.
During the visit, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, held talks and exchanges with officials from Malaysian government departments, major business associations, and ASEAN multinational chambers of commerce. He emphasized that he will work together with the ASEAN business community to deepen practical cooperation between multiple and bilateral sides, jointly maintain stable and smooth regional supply chains, and make greater contributions to building a closer China ASEAN community with a shared future.
