The next day, he listed the fully automated wharf of Yangshan Port as the first project to visit, and then walked into the old town of Yu Garden in the center of Shanghai, drawing on the vitality of all-round cooperation between Uruguay and China in the busy port bridge cranes and the bustling crowd.

This is my fourth time coming to China, but also my first visit to Shanghai. It has to be said that we have come to the right place, “Orsi said of Shanghai, expressing a sense of” regret for meeting late.

According to Orsi’s sharing, stopping and visiting the world’s largest single fully automated terminal, Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV Terminal, can strongly feel the important influence of Shanghai on the global economy and trade. “China has maintained Uruguay’s largest trading partner status for many years, accounting for 26% of Uruguay’s total exports to China, of which a considerable proportion enters the Chinese market through Shanghai Port, which is crucial for Uruguay’s economic development and national employment.

In the old town of Yu Garden Garden, Orsi went into a specialty store to experience the charm of “Made in Shanghai” today and the vitality of the market before the Spring Festival. He said that through the colorful products and people’s smiling faces, one can feel that people are living happily, which comes from the Chinese government’s consistent development orientation of “putting the people at the center”.

In Shanghai, I not only saw a beautiful city and felt its vibrant vitality, but more importantly, it further clarified the direction and focus of future cooperation between Ukraine and China, “said Orsi.

On the 6th, at the China Uruguay Business Investment Forum held in Shanghai, Orsi invited more Chinese companies to invest and develop in Uruguay. He said that Uruguay is a logistics hub in the South Atlantic and should become an important gateway for Chinese companies to expand into the South American market.

Nowadays, Uruguay not only exports high-quality agricultural products such as soybeans and beef to China, but also expands its exports to service trade fields such as software and finance. Importing from China greatly enhances Uruguay’s industrial modernization process. The strong complementarity of cooperation between Uruguay and China has formed a mutually beneficial and win-win situation, “said Orsi.

Orsi believes that Shanghai and Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, can have in-depth exchanges and cooperation in port construction and operation, technology research and development represented by artificial intelligence, as well as various fields such as society and culture in the future. When I was admiring the night view of Shanghai on the Huangpu River, I was thinking, when can I return to this beautiful city? “Said Orsi.
