Beijing, March 31 (Xinhua) — The International Symposium and Book Launch Conference on “New Strategic Opportunities: China and the World Towards 2035” was held in Beijing on the 30th. Wang Wen, Dean of the Chongyang Institute of Finance at Renmin University of China (hereinafter referred to as “Renmin Chongyang”), officially released his new book “New Strategic Opportunities: China and the World Towards 2035” at the conference.
Xie Fusheng, the editor in chief of Renmin University Press of China, introduced in his speech that the book is based on the 2035 long-term goal and systematically analyzes the eight major internal and external strategic opportunities facing China. Combined with field research cases, it provides a unique perspective for understanding the present and grasping the future.
Wang Wen stated in his speech at the seminar that in the current complex situation, China still has a lot of development opportunities, and should face the future with an optimistic and positive attitude, discovering and seizing opportunities in challenges.
This seminar is hosted by Renmin University Chongyang and co organized by Renmin University Press of China. More than a hundred guests and representatives from domestic and foreign think tanks, universities, and media attended the event on that day.
The attending guests exchanged views on topics such as China’s development and international cooperation. Many guests gave positive comments on China’s “the Belt and Road” initiative, global development initiative, etc., and believed that these initiatives played a positive role in promoting the common development of all countries and improving the global governance system.
