On December 27th, the completion and commissioning ceremony of the garbage incineration power generation project in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan was held, with more than 200 people from China and Kyrgyzstan attending the event.
Kyrgyzstan President Zaparov delivered a speech at the ceremony, stating that the implementation of the project will promote the resolution of waste disposal issues, facilitate electricity production, create employment opportunities, improve the ecological environment of Bishkek, and contribute to ensuring residents’ access to electricity.
Deputy Mayor Aliyev of Bishkek said in an interview with reporters that the project converts waste into clean energy, which helps reduce the probability of haze in Bishkek.
This project is invested, constructed and operated by Hunan Junxin Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. The chairman of the company, Dai Daoguo, stated that he will make every effort to ensure the safe, stable, and environmentally friendly operation of the project, actively fulfill social responsibilities, and ensure that the development achievements benefit the local area.
The Bishkek garbage technology disposal power generation project will be launched in August 2024, with a planned daily garbage processing capacity of 3000 tons. At present, the daily garbage treatment scale of the project is 1000 tons, with an annual grid connected electricity of about 146 million kilowatt hours, and an annual carbon reduction of up to 100000 tons.
