On April 28th, the Cross Strait Shipping Exchange Association urged Taiwan to resume direct sea passenger transportation across the Taiwan Strait through existing channels. The cross-strait maritime passenger routes are an important channel for people to travel between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Restoring the full normalization of direct maritime passenger transportation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait is conducive to normal exchanges between compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
